Welcome to the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library,

We truly reflect the backgrounds and interests of our customers; which in Cleveland Heights and University Heights means that we represent the world.

The Library Experience Program includes a general orientation to the library, various learning opportunities and the hands-on experiential activities needed to fulfill the requirements of your unpaid practicum or internship.

Our application process is a competitive one and we will select one or more students based on responses to questions on The Library Experience Program application. Please answer the questions in as much detail as possible. In addition, please attach a copy of any documentation from your school that specifies the expectations of this experience and a copy of your transcript showing the classes you’ve completed thus far.

Please allow four weeks for us to review your application and other documentation. Decisions are made as soon as possible after receiving the application. If you are selected, we will contact you to set up a meeting with your assigned Library Experience Program supervisor to work out the details.
