A Cleveland Heights child sent this to Governor Strickland: 

Im Alee and 11 year old girl whose faith in Ohio was crushed when I found out you were taking money away from the library! The library to me is a place where I can escape anything and everything annoying going on outside.

i go there for movies,
great books,
school field trips,
with my friends,
 for classes,
music, and a lot more.

Do you remember when you were a kid? Being able to go to the library – talk to your favorite librarian and then sit and read a great book? – well you know what? I might not be able to do that anymore because of what your doing with the budget!

They will have to fire many hard working kind people and you will be disappointing many kids one of them being me! I might not be able to talk to a great librarian any more because You had them fired.

Well I hope you know I wont stand for it and neither will my friends and family. There will be many heart-broken people writing letters to you!
